YOCO COLD-FOIL UNIT

VALUE CHAIN : Included as 'standard'

  • Migration free PUR adhesive – environmentally neutral after curing.
  • Complete security between master machine and our cold foil 
  • Double helix feed rollers: the air is pushed outside of the feed roll, to stretch the foil in the width 
  • Remote closing of safety chucks 
  • Motors, touch screen and drives, with belt transmission low noise: Siemens 
  • n. 2 (two) pneumatic differential shafts one for unwind, one for rewind, to use up to 5 reels of foil (standard for sizes lower than 106cm) 
  • core diameter 3” (standard for sizes lower than 106cm) 
  • 5+5 laser sensors to avoid foil wrap on blanket cylinder 
  • 1+1 laser sensors for end of foil warning Special foil roll length: foil roll diameter to 450 mm, around 10-12.000mt. 
  • RSA: Remote Service Assistance 
  • The cut on platform, where the foil goes through, is done with plasma cutting, where possible 
  • Small tool box for quick intervention

4. Indexing Option

Cut up to 50% foil waste using our indexing software at a run speed of 7-8,000 sheets/hr.

5. Fast Roller Change

SARC Semi Automatic Roller Change to cut around 50% times for roller changes.

6. Cast & Cure

Possible to install Cast & Cure in the same tower of the Cold Foil, or in Last Coating unit
